Stal Bankers Regulations
(House rules)

General

  • Stal Bankers is open 7 days a week, from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. Please notify the landlord in advance of your visit outside of these times.

  • Due to the risk of fire, a smoking ban applies in the entire stable. If you want to smoke, do it outside and at least 15 meters away from the buildings.

  • Customers and visitors are kindly requested to behave calmly at Stal Bankers.

  • Dogs are welcome while kept on a leash and they are not permitted in the riding arenas.

  • The last person in the stable turns off the lights and depending on the weather closes the doors.

  • The stables are not monitored 24/7.

  • Incase of any damage inform the landlord directly.

  • Smoking is not allowed inside and outside, only 15 meters from the buildings.

  • Vehicles can be parked in the parking spaces on the stable's own grounds.

  • Immediately report the presence of suspicious persons to the landlord.

  • We respect the night's rest between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. and noise nuisance must be avoided.

  • When you receive a key as a guest, you return it on departure. As a guest, you are responsible for properly closing the entrance door. Loss of the key is at the expense of the contractor (€ 100) and must be paid at check-out.

  • The landlord is not liable for damage, loss or theft of
    guests' property. In case of disputes, all (legal) costs are for the account of the
    users.

  • Damage and loss of movable and immovable property of the
    landlord must be reported immediately by the guests and reimbursed to the owner.

  • All risks of damage caused by guests with regard to Stable Bankers are at the expense of the
    guests.

  • Guests must follow the landlord's instructions.

  • In case of violation of these regulations or
    inappropriate behaviour, the
    landlord may refuse guests access to Stal Bankers with immediate effect and without refund of accommodation costs.

Visitors to the Stal Bankers grounds

  • The accommodation is not open for public. Visitors have to inform about their visit in advance to one of the tenants or the landlord.

  • Every person who enters the accommodation does it at their own risk.

  • Children under 8 must be accompanied by adults.

  • Patting or feeding other horses is not allowed without permission of the owner.

  • Stal Bankers cannot be held liable for thefts, accidents or damage to goods, animals and / or persons caused by or in connection with the presence at Stal Bankers.

  • Any damage caused by the customer, by his family members or by third parties brought by the customer, will be repaired at the expense of the tenant.

  • If someone acts in violation of the provisions of these stable rules Stal Bankers has the right to refuse that person to enter with immediate effect.

  • Customer and visitor knows and accepts the risk inherent in handling and riding the horse that can arise from the energetic behaviour of the horse.

Riding arena & walker

  • Riders on horseback must wear an approved safety helmet (CE / EN 1384) at Stal Bankers

  • Clean the hooves in the stable before taking it out and after riding, clean out the hooves or go for a walk in front of the entrance to the roadway, then wipe the floor clean.

  • Lunging is permitted in the lunging area. Don't lunge in the indoor or outdoor arena.

  • Loose horses are not permitted in the indoor- or outdoor arena. Only with permission from the landlord.

  • Horse manure in the indoor- and outdoor arena, round pen, walker and paddocks needs to be cleaned after each use.
    Please don't ride thr
    ough the manure.

  • After riding or jumping, rake the bumps.

Stables and cleaning area

  • Leave tacking places clean. Remove manure and wipe the floor when leaving it behind.

  • Be aware of the cold and hot water. Turn the tap back to cold after use.

  • The bedding in the horse boxes is straw.

  • You are expected to ensure that you keep the stable clean and on time. After mucking out your stables, sweep the places where you dropped manure or straw.

  • The aisle must be tidy and free of obstacles, harness, cleaning equipment, tools, etc. must be tidied up in the designated areas immediately after use.

  • Wheelbarrows must be emptied at the dunghill and returned empty to the correct place. Used materials should be cleared away and everything should be left clean.

  • Advice is to close the hatches on the aisle side at night.

Horses

  • The owner of the animal is liable for damage or injury, which may be caused by his animal. The animal owner must be insured for this.

  • The horse registration at Stal Bankers is according to the European rules for horse registration (Regulation (EU) 2016/429 of the European Parliament). This means that horse owners at Stal Bankers:

  • Check in horses with the Check-in Form

  • Register horses that leave the farm for more than one day with the Travel From (Check-out)

  • Horses must be vaccinated in accordance with the applicable regulations of the KNHS. Proof of these vaccinations must be provided on request. The horse should also be dewormed regularly.

  • If a horse urgently needs veterinary care or treatment and the owner has not already engaged a veterinarian, Stal Bankers is entitled to request the help of the veterinarian. The costs of veterinary care or treatment will be charged.

  • Consult the landlord if you want to use a salt block. Do not place them in the crib.

Foyer (Canteen)

  • The foyer must be left tidy:throw away cups, wash cups, close the door and if necessary, wipe the floor clean

  • Dispose of waste separately in the appropriate waste bins.

  • Animals are not welcome in the lobby.

  • Consumptions for a fee.

Lodging Rooms

The rules of the foyer also apply to the rooms. And in addition:

  • After showering, dry the walls with a squeegee and dry the shower with a towel. (The reason is the high lime content in this area)

  • Smoking is not allowed inside.

  • In autumn, winter and spring do not leave the windows open unnecessarily.

    If you stay longer than two weeks:

  • The room will be cleaned every even week on Tuesday morning. Make sure the room is tidy and that nothing is left lying around. The housekeeper has a key and will open the door herself after knocking three times.

  • Do not wear stable shoes in the rooms themselves in order to keep them tidy.

  • For stays shorter than two weeks, the room will be cleaned after 10:00 am after departure.

  • Visitors are not allowed to stay overnight in the Bed & Breakfast without the permission of the manager and without additional payment. Use of the accommodation by third parties is not permitted.

  • The person who stays overnight identifies himself to the landlord.

  • The person who stays overnight registers them self's with our Check-in form.

  • The person who stays overnight is legal in the Netherlands. Please check.

  • On the day of arrival you can use your stay from 3 pm.

  • On the day of departure, the accommodation must be free by 11 am.

  • No refund will be made for earlier departure.
